Full Professor in Computer Science at the University of Corsica "Pasquale Paoli" since 2023 and after obtaining a degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis in 2003, my research area in the Sciences for the Environment (SPE) laboratory UMR CNRS 6134 is the modeling and simulation (M&S) of complex system of systems using discrete-event approach based on the DEVS (Discrete EVent system Specification) formalism.
My teaching activities are taught in the DUT "Multimedia and Internet Professions" (MMI ex-SRC) of the IUT and the Master "Information Systems and Internet" (S2I) of the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques (FST) of the University of Corsica.
My research activities are related to the work developed within the team of the Simulation Computer Science and Ubiquitous Systems (SISU) project of the SPE UMR CNRS 6134 Lab. My research interests lie in the field of Modeling and Simulation of complex systems by discrete-event approaches based on the DEVS (Discrete EVent system Specification) formalism. This involves developing a theoretical framework and a generic M&S environment for complex systems through the following research activity topics:
- the extention of the DEVS formalism,
- software development around the DEVS formalism,
- modeling and simulation with the DEVS formalism.
more details are mentioned in the Research section.
Teaching activities are taught in the "Métiers du Multimedia and de l'Internet" (MMI ex-SRC) of the IUT and the Master's degree "Information Systems and Internet" (S2I) of the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques. Among the subjects taught:
- Modeling and simulation of complex systems with DEVS formalism and DEVSimPy software;
- Content Management Systems (CMS);
- Object-oriented and event-oriented programming;
- Web programming ;
- Mobile programming;
- and more...
